Michigan Organizing Collaborative

The Mission of the Michigan Organizing Collaborative (MOC) is to create a broadly shared agenda for the renewal of Michigan, one that ties together the interests of revitalizing urban communities, with the overall economic revival of the state.  The MOC seeks to bridge the gap between disadvantaged people and communities and those places and institutions of opportunity in our state by means of:  (a) strengthening and expanding grassroots organizing in both urban and suburban communities in key regions of the state; and (b) tying together local organizing efforts into a state-wide bloc that has the policy and communications capacity to influence state policy-decisions.
